Dental care during the coronavirus epidemic

We have ensured that it is safe to come for treatment. We recommend that you wear a face mask when you enter dental clinic’s premises.

Remember to come to the dental clinic by appointment and only when you are healthy. While making the appointment, let us know whether you have any symptoms pointing to a respiratory infection, you have been exposed to coronavirus, you are infected with coronavirus, or you have returned from abroad within 10 days of your appointment. All non-urgent dental care will be moved, and urgent dental care will be given with safety measures.

People with a verified coronavirus infection; on-call dental care is provided at HUS Emergency Department, oral and maxillofacial unit.

You will receive more detailed instructions when you make the appointment.

In non-urgent cases

Interruption of spring 2020 non-urgent dental care continues to congest our services. We can only offer a limited number of non-urgent check-up or further care appointments. Please not that because of the coronavirus situation, care times are longer than usual.

We will invite counseling bureau and school-age patients to treatment in stages.

If you leave a call-back request, we will call you back as soon as possible.

Canceling the appointment through the service or by text message, tel. 050 302 6485 (the message shall include your name, date of birth, and time of the appointment to be canceled).

Repair or renewal of retention wires

Retention wire first aid will be given to everybody who suffers from pain or wounds caused by retention wire.

The first aid can be, for example, cutting the pricking part.

Repairs of retention wires of those patients who receive municipal orthodontic treatment will be made within two years from the termination of treatment.

Repairs of retention wires of those patients who receive private orthodontic treatment will not be made.
