Information about living in Vantaa
Do you find city services confusing, do you need help as regards e-Services? Don't worry, we will help you! We are happy to tell you about the city's services, language courses and leisure activities. You can call us, send us an email or come and visit, we will guide you to the right place!
If you’ve only recently moved to Finland and to Vantaa, you may be entitled to an initial assessment. The assessment will help you find suitable services and cope with everyday life in your new country.
Advice for immigrants
Service counseling in Russian and Estonian
The counseling is on a break until October 29, 2021.
A service advisor will help you in issues related to immigration, as well as services provided by the city, Finnish authorities, and organizations. The service advisor will also instruct you in filling in forms and applications. In cooperation with the Neuvova Vantaa project.
Free-of-charge legal counseling
Free-of-charge legal counseling is provided at the Myyrmäki House once a month. Advance enrollments to the janitor of the Myyrmäki House, tel. 0400 438 521. Advance appointment is required.
Legal services continue in fall 2021 as follows:

Be sure to come only if you are fully healthy. Wear a mask. Remember to keep a sufficient safety distance during the counseling.

Do you need help when you are looking for information on the city's or other authorities’ websites? Would you like to get some help with the city’s or our partners’ e-Services? Come to Vantaa Info, we will help you in Finnish and English.
Tourist information and leisure tips
Are you looking for brochures, maps, information on events or attractions? Tourist information serves you at Myyrmäki (Myyrmäkitalo, Paalutori 3) and Tikkurila (Dixi, Ratatie 11, 2nd floor) Vantaa Infos.
We will give you lots of information on Vantaa's and its neighbors' attractions and events, and we have brochures on cultural activities, sports and hobbies. Likewise, we will tell you about organizations operating in Vantaa as well as about forms of volunteer activities.

Support from Youth Shelter
Counseling for seniors and senior’s information corner
Do you have any questions for Senior Clinic? Come and talk with an elderly work professional about your situation or about the situation of someone you care about.
Counseling for seniors is available from October 5, on Tuesdays from 14:00 to 16:00 at Tikkurila Vantaa Info (Dixi, Ratatie 11, 2nd floor) and on Wednesdays from 14:00 to 16:00 at Myyrmäki Vantaa Info (The Myyrmäki House, Paalutori 3).
Senior’s information corner at Tikkurila and Myyrmäki has topical brochures on leisure activities and city services, as well as on organizations and businesses offering social services.
Vantaa Infos provide digital support. Vantaa Infos’ digital support entails support for using the City of Vantaa’s electronic transacting and e-services. We will also refer you to the services provided by the city’s partners such as HSL’s (Helsinki Region Transport) and Kela's (The Social Insurance Institution of Finland) e-services.
Digital support will not take a stand on the contents of online transacting; when required, you will get help from an expert. We will find the contact data and the suitable contacting channel on your behalf, when required. We apply the ethical instructions for digital support to our counseling service.
Digital support is available at Myyrmäki and Tikkurila Vantaa Infos, as well as over the phone and by email. Our premises in Myyrmäki and Tikkurila have a client printer and scanner, and we will instruct you in using them.
In all digital support situations, we demand that both the instructor and the client wear a face mask. If you cannot wear a face mask, we will do our best to instruct you from farther away.
Counseling by the customer guidance unit for the disabled
The expert is available on Wednesdays from 13:00 to 15:00 at Tikkurila Vantaa Info (Dixi, Ratatie 11, 2nd floor) and on Thursdays from 13:00 to 15:00 at Myyrmäki Vantaa Info (Myyrmäkitalo, The Myyrmäki House, Paalutori 3).
An expert from the customer guidance unit for the disabled at Services for the Disabled counsels and gives tips on how to use services.
Information for entrepreneurs
Are you interested in becoming an entrepreneur or are you just looking for general information about entrepreneurship? Myyrmäki (The Myyrmäki House, Paalutori 3,1st floor) and Tikkurila (Dixi, Ratatie 11, 2nd floor) Vantaa Infos offer general information about entrepreneurship.
