Meetings between child and non-custodial parent

The City of Vantaa meeting place activities moved to new premises on October 1, 2021.
The new premises are situated in Tikkurila. The child and the custodial parent shall arrive to: Kultarikontie 1 A, 2nd floor, whereas the non-custodial parent meeting the child will arrive to: Peltolantie 3, 2nd floor. The name Perheoikeudellisten asioiden yksikkö is placed on both the meeting place doors, and the doorbell has the name Tapaamispaikka on it. Both entrances have elevators.

A child and his or her non-custodial parent can meet each other in Vantaa's safe and peaceful meeting places. Before the first meeting, the parties concerned shall make an appointment with the meeting place during which they will be introduced to the place. The services are free of charge for the customers.
Supervised and supported meetings and supervised exchanges
In case of a supervised meeting, the meeting between the parent and child will be constantly monitored, which means that an employee shares the premises with the parent and child or is otherwise constantly able to see and hear them.
In case of a supported meeting, an employee is available upon request. The employee is responsible for the beginning and ending of the meeting, and will monitor the situation.
A supervised exchange can be arranged when there is a restraining order on the parents, or if disputes prevent the parents from meeting one another.
Meeting places will arrange supervised and supported meetings, as well as supervised exchanges, depending on the decisions made. Visits are arranged on Wednesdays at 10-17:45; on even weeks’ Fridays at 14:30-18:30, and on weekends at 10-17:30. There may be changes in the opening hours of the meeting place on public holidays and other times as needed. You must always book a visitation time in advance in accordance with the visiting place’s opening hours and booking situation.
