Furthermore, Family Law Services is in charge of custody and right of access dispute investigations in Court cases and meeting place activity.

An appointment must be booked to visit a child supervisor or social worker.

Walk-in service on Wednesdays from 8.15 to 10.30

Note: exceptionally not open on Wednesday 29.12.2021 and 5.1.2022

The Walk-in service is open to couples living together in Vantaa, who wish to establish paternity or parents wishing to negotiate on the extension, changing or content of a child support agreement. The Walk-in service is also available for people seeking advice in cases of separation or divorce!

  • registration begins at 8.15 and ends at 10.30
  • the service works on a first come, first served basis
  • appointments are for a maximum of 30 minutes
  • in cases where a calculation of parents’ ability to pay needs to be made, we advise parents to book an appointment by telephone
  • both parents must be present at the walk-in service, unless one parent lives far away
What do I need with me?
  • an identification document
  • any previous agreements related to the child, that have not been made in Vantaa or previous court decisions related to the child
  • documentation of income and expenses in child maintenance matters
