When will I receive a decision on my application?
The time for handling applications is 1-3 months.
What appendices shall I deliver with my application if I apply for family caregiver allowance or personal assistance?
If you are not yet our customer, deliver to us a less than 6 months old B or C medical certificate, medical record (printed from own database) and the permission to view your medical history. Please note that this permission will not allow us to view HUS’ patient records.
Where shall I return my application?

Where shall I deliver the income-tax card when I act as a family caregiver or personal assistant?
The income-tax card related to salary-payment to personal assistant shall be delivered to: Vammaisten asiakasohjausyksikkö, Rajatorpantie 8 A,3 krs., 01600 Vantaa.
Where shall I return a support person’s fee-payment form?
You can mail the form to: Vammaisten asiakasohjausyksikkö, PL 2712, 01030 Vantaan kaupunki.
How are customer fees specified?

Can I enter the personal assistant’s working hours lists into the SuoraTyö system by myself?
Vantaa is currently piloting the option that personal assistants’ employers and/or personal assistants themselves enter the assistant's working hours into the SuoraTyö system. In the course of December 2018, we will mail all personal assistants as well as their employers a letter informing them of when independent feed of working hours will start for also those not participating in the pilot.
