Tikkurila and Myyrmäki Vantaa Infos arrange different kinds of topical events and information blitzes. The events taking place during Vantaa Infos ’ opening hours are free of charge and open to the public.

Tikkurila and Myyrmäki Vantaa Infos’ exhibitions view life in Vantaa from myriad perspectives. The exhibitions are available during the service points’ opening hours.

Vantaa’s lost beauties

The city is undergoing continuous change: building new and demolishing old buildings. Vantaa City Museum’s pop-up exhibition introduces you to Vantaa's lost beauties, buildings that Vantaa residents have been missing throughout the years.

The Home in Finland photo exhibition tells about young immigrants

The photo exhibition presents the portraits of eight immigrants. The photos constitute part of Satu Leisko's plain-language book Tulin Suomeen - Maahanmuuttajien tarinoita uudesta kodistaan (Avain 2020). In the Koti Suomesta book, young immigrants tell their stories about how they came to Finland and what kind of beginning their lives had here.

In addition to photos, the exhibition also includes small tasks related to the book and the photos. You can access the tasks with the QR scanner on your mobile device. The tasks are especially suitable for those studying Finnish, but they are also well suited for those needing plain language.
