Social and health services for immigrants

In Finland, municipalities are responsible for arranging many public services, such as social and health services. You may be entitled to services provided by the City of Vantaa if your domicile is Vantaa. Your domicile is registered at the Registry Office where you can also apply for a Finnish identity number.

With a Kela card, you can verify that you are included in the Finnish health insurance system.

On Vantaa social and health services' website you will find more detailed information about how to act if you fall ill and need a doctor, if you are pregnant, or if you do not have minimum income.

Initial assessments will analyze immigrants' situation.

The city supports integration of immigrants.
